BoreMaster Model 8200 For Large Bores of 6" to 155"
BoreMaster portable line boring systems have been in reliable service since 1922, in applications ranging from steam locomotives, ocean liners and mining equipment, to modern marine, turbomachinery and hydroelectric power components. The BoreMaster 8200 represents the world's most advanced technology for large on-site boring capability, incorporating the best engineered, most user-friendly features for fast, accurate cutting.

The BoreMaster 8200 is perfect for large boring applications in turbines, stern tubes, rudder posts, struts, missile silos, hinge covers, bearings, gun mounts, large earth moving equipment, valve chambers, wicket gates, and seal rings. The system can be installed in horizontal, vertical or inclined orientations and fits conveniently in limited space.
No other portable line boring system can match the BoreMaster 8200 for smooth boring, accurate alignment, easy set-up and large diameter capacities. Standard models are available to finish bores from 6" to 155" in diameter, in lengths up to 24 feet. A unique coupling arrangement is available to accommodate longer bores. The drive assembly and main bearings slide onto the boring bar and are easily fixed at any point on the bar. The boring heads are split for easy installation and removal. A facing arm may be substituted for smooth, accurate facing operations with no other modifications to the overall system.

3-Axis Programming
With the standard remote pendant controller, the Model 8200 can also perform facing operations, using an optional facing arm on the cutting head. In addition to straight boring, the Model 8200 is capable of taper boring and spherical boring, with the available programmable 3-axis position controller. A menu-driven keypad allows simple entry of machine parameters with minimal operator training.
